Reviews about Volo Antique Malls
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★June 15, 2020, by Betty CoenI love going there and looking at all the antiques. Christmas is my favorite time of year. I found a really neat light up Santa wreath from the 40's this last weekend. My little granddaughter gets excited everytime she sees it. She can't talk yet, so she points and makes noises. Who knows, maybe her first word will be Santa!
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★June 10, 2019, by Andy HanscomThis place is incredible. My family and I went there expecting to leave within an hour maybe two at most. Yeah no it was a full day thing. With it being a full day thing, we didn’t get to see everything. There’s sooooo much stuff. It’s insane. Anything you can think of is there plus some. Malls 1, 2, and 3 are all connected by walkways. There’s different levels for the malls. If you find something in a certain mall you have to pay for it there. For example, if you want something you found in a booth in mall 1, you can’t go to mall 2 without paying for it. Not something I had a problem with though. There aren’t long lines. We didn’t even have to wait at all most of the time and if we did it wasn’t long. They have plenty of paper to wrap up fragile items you want to buy to protect them and they wrap it for you. If you buy something in one mall and then plan on going to another, I do recommend placing the items in your car just because it’ll be less of a hassle and if you buy more it’ll be harder to carry it all. I don’t recommend having young kids here due to a few reasons. With it having a lot of stuff, it’s not necessarily easy to keep an eye on them if they decide to just wonder off. It is an older building meaning some of the floors can shake easily. The reason I mention that is there are fragile stuff and some parts of it will even have signs telling you that if you do have a kid, you have to make sure they behave and there’s no running around. This isn’t to say you can’t have kids. It’s just simply suggesting that if they can’t behave good, it may not be the best place to take them. You will find items that kids will enjoy getting, say a teddy bear or some toys, but a lot of the stuff won’t be interesting to them, such as jewelry, coins, kitchen stuff such as glasses, plates, cooking items, etc. It’s not called an antique mall just because they felt like it. There is a really nice museum with cars. That does pay to go in. I didn’t have time to go in so I don’t know how much it costs or how long it would take but if it’s anything like the mall (which is free to enter) there’s plenty to look at. There is a place to eat there whether you just want a simple snack or if you want to take a lunch break. I recommend visiting here.
